Installed with discrete screws affixing it to the doorjamb, a surface-mount barn-door lock uses a locking mechanism with a 1-in. bolt. The bolt is activated by a one-touch thumb lever, including an ADA option, and can be locked from inside a room. A dust-proof strike is installed on the barn door to eliminate dust and debris from collecting. For emergencies, the lock also features a concealed release button on the outside of the door for occupants incapable of opening the door from the inside.
